Kinetiq's KNTQ Rises 48% in a Week as November 9 Elysium Launch Nears

By MABOnChain Desk · Published · Updated · 5 min read

Editorial digital-art illustration in the CoinTelegraph style: a sleek futuristic layer-2 trading network rising above a glowing perpetual exchange, golden coins flowing through a liquid staking vault into a fast second-layer rail, traders in silhouette watching rising green charts and a calendar page marked November 9, deep navy night palette with gold and teal highlights, cinematic painterly lighting, dramatic 16:9 composition, no text, no logos, no identifiable person.

Published November 1, 2026, 9:55 PM PKT. Based on CoinGecko trending data captured November 1, 2026, TokenPost's November 1 trending report, Crypto-Economy's October 29 report on Elysium launch support, Bitrue's Elysium launch explainer, and DefiLlama's Kinetiq protocol page. KNTQ was not covered by MABOnChain in the last 48 hours; the trending coins covered most recently were Lighter's LIT on November 1 and NEAR on October 31.

Kinetiq's KNTQ token is the fresh name on crypto's trending boards on November 1, 2026, and the move has a dated catalyst behind it rather than only momentum. CoinGecko's trending data captured at about 9:52 PM PKT on November 1 put KNTQ at $0.572, up 5.56% in 24 hours, with a market capitalisation of about $182.9 million and 24 hour trading volume of about $6.39 million. TokenPost's trending report published November 1 put KNTQ at the top of Korea's most-viewed list at $0.56, up 5.49% in 24 hours and 48.55% over seven days, while Bitcoin's most-searched list compiler Bitcoinsistemi reported the same day that KNTQ was among CoinGecko's three most-searched coins in recent hours, with a market capitalisation of $176.1 million and a 48.4% seven day gain. The context makes the outperformance sharper: in the same CoinGecko snapshot, bitcoin traded at $78,011, up 0.66% in 24 hours, and ether at $2,266, up 0.67%, so KNTQ's weekly run is roughly eight times the majors' daily moves, not a rising tide story.

What Kinetiq does: liquid staking for Hyperliquid's HYPE

Kinetiq is a liquid staking protocol built natively on Hyperliquid, according to CoinGecko's project description. Users stake HYPE, Hyperliquid's native token, and receive kHYPE, a liquid receipt token that keeps earning staking rewards while remaining usable across supported decentralised finance applications, instead of locking the stake away. Behind the scenes, staked HYPE is delegated to top-performing Hyperliquid validators selected by StakeHub, Kinetiq's autonomous validator scoring and delegation system, CoinGecko said. The scale of that staking book is visible in DefiLlama's data: Kinetiq's total value locked stood at about $1.004 billion on November 1, all of it on Hyperliquid's layer 1, with 30 day fees of $1.76 million, 24 hour fees of $55,344, and cumulative fees of $40.4 million. KNTQ itself is the protocol's governance and value-accrual token, with a maximum supply of one billion tokens and about 316 million to 320 million in circulation, according to project materials summarised by COINCHECK 3.0 TV and MEXC's tokenomics page. The staking model charges a 10% performance fee on staking rewards, with 70% of that fee allocated to KNTQ purchases, COINCHECK reported, and since September 2026 those buybacks have been redirected to the Hyperliquid Assistance Fund under the KIP-5 governance change, DefiLlama's holders-revenue page said.

Elysium on November 9: a trading Layer 2 with day-one apps lined up

The dated event behind the trending interest is Elysium, Kinetiq's planned Layer 2 for the Hyperliquid ecosystem, with mainnet scheduled for November 9, 2026, eight days from this article's publication, according to Bitrue's launch explainer. Elysium is designed as a high-performance chain for trading-focused applications, Bitrue said, settling its transactions on HyperEVM, Hyperliquid's smart contract layer, and using HYPE to pay transaction fees. The launch lineup reported by Crypto-Economy on October 29 is unusually concrete for a pre-launch chain: Pump.fun and Fomo confirmed they will allow trading on Elysium from day one, with Fomo named as Elysium's exclusive trading partner, Uniswap plans to launch on the network, applications connected to 0x will be able to execute swaps from day one, KyberSwap said it is ready to operate there, and Derive V3 plans to bring options trading. Direct connections to Hyperliquid's own order books are expected about four weeks after launch, Crypto-Economy added, so day one is about the new chain's own apps, not instant access to Hyperliquid's central order book. The economics are the part traders are pricing: Kinetiq plans to allocate 50% of Elysium sequencer revenue to KNTQ buybacks and burns, with 25% for builders and 25% for the treasury, according to both Bitrue and Crypto-Economy. That is a fee stream that does not exist yet, since only the testnet is live as of October 28, Bitrue noted, so the buyback story is a scheduled mechanism, not a realised revenue line.

What could check the rally: the November 27 unlock and thin liquidity

Two overhangs sit on the other side of the launch date. First, project materials summarised by COINCHECK 3.0 TV show about 310 million KNTQ in a team and investor unlock schedule beginning November 27, 2026, distributed over 24 months, a tranche nearly equal to the entire current circulating supply of about 316 million. Second, an earlier supply event is still fresh: from October 1 to 10, 2026, eligible kPoints holders could claim up to 50 million KNTQ at a fixed price of $0.26, according to CoinMarketCap's Kinetiq price-prediction summary citing Kinetiq, and with KNTQ now near $0.57 those claimants sit on a large paper profit that could become selling pressure if they exit. The market structure adds a third caution: DefiLlama put KNTQ's 24 hour trading volume at $6.27 million, with 94.45% of it on decentralised exchanges and only $235,250 on centralised exchanges, so price discovery is concentrated in onchain venues where moves can run further in both directions. None of this cancels the launch catalyst, but it frames the 48% weekly gain as a pre-launch repricing with a known supply calendar, not a one-way bet: the markers to watch are whether Elysium launches on November 9 with its named apps live, whether sequencer fees materialise at a scale that makes the 50% buyback pledge meaningful, and how the November 27 unlock is absorbed.

Binance Reports $3.64 Billion in Net Outflows on First Day of Withdrawal Reopening, Says Flows Are Stabilising

November 1, 2026 · 5 min read

Binance said in a post on X on November 1, 2026 that it recorded net outflows of about $3.64 billion between 0600 and 1530 GMT that day, after withdrawals resumed following the October 29 theft of about $6.3 billion, equal to 2.1 percent of its $171 billion in assets under management. The exchange said it processed over $4.64 billion in withdrawals against $1.01 billion in deposits in the period, and said withdrawal volumes have declined and are stabilising as expected. A Binance spokesperson told Reuters in an emailed statement that volumes spiked at the start and are now falling sharply toward normal activity. Independent dashboard data from DefiLlama put Sunday net outflows above $3.5 billion, a reading Binance did not comment on, and co-CEO Yi He noted on X that some transfers are between Binance wallets.

Binance Hacker Converts $279M in Stolen Altcoins to ETH, Moves $96M in SOL Toward Bitcoin

November 1, 2026 · 5 min read

On-chain tracker Lookonchain reported on November 1, 2026 that wallets it attributes to the Binance hacker sold more than 130 stolen altcoins on Ethereum-compatible chains for about 123,400 ETH, worth about $277.26 million, plus 1.69 million USDC, a total of about $279 million, and separately began converting 970,522 SOL, worth about $95.9 million, toward bitcoin, moving 486,970 SOL, about $46.4 million, within an hour via Relay Protocol. One swap in the same wave turned 908,793 PROM tokens, quoted at about $5 million, into just 0.0316 ETH, about $71, because the Uniswap V2 pool was nearly empty. The wallet attribution comes from Lookonchain and an Arkham label, not from Binance or law enforcement, and the SOL conversion was reported as ongoing, with final bitcoin receipts not established.

Binance Withdrawals Are Live Again for 15 Assets as Coverage Hits 95%

November 1, 2026 · 5 min read

Binance resumed withdrawals on November 1, 2026, posting on its status page shortly after 0600 GMT that the planned Phase One withdrawals had begun, Reuters reported, with the first phase covering 15 cryptoassets including bitcoin, ether, XRP and dogecoin. Binance's Recovery Update #4 put coverage of the roughly $6.3 billion stolen on October 29 at about 95 percent, up from 90 percent in its previous update, funded from company treasury, a partial deployment of the Secure Asset Fund for Users and part of the futures insurance fund. The 95 percent is a replacement figure, not recovered stolen funds, and Binance has still named no date for Phase Two, with the full cryptographic proof of reserves due November 3.

Binance Reopens Withdrawals in Phases From 11 AM PKT, Starting With 15 Assets

November 1, 2026 · 5 min read

Binance said in a recovery update published November 1, 2026 that it will resume Phase One withdrawals from 14:00 to 17:00 Beijing time (06:00 to 09:00 UTC, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM PKT), starting with 15 assets and networks including BTC, ETH, BNB, TRX, SOL, XRP, ZEC, DOGE, TON, POL, AVAX, ARB, BASE, OP and SUI. The exchange said assets were prioritized by user demand over the past week, that each service returns only after security and stability checks, and that other networks and assets will follow sequentially. Deposit services were never paused and remain open. The window is a schedule, not a completed reopening: Binance warned that heavy initial traffic may cause delays or failed withdrawals, and the full cryptographic proof of reserves is still due November 3.
