Ether ETF Flows: $118M Out as Solana ETF Inflows Stall
Published October 5, 2026, 04:35 UTC. Flow and price data as of October 5, 2026, about 04:10 UTC. Weekly totals are provisional.
US spot Ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded provisional net outflows of about $118 million for the week of September 28 to October 2, according to Farside Investors. The week before, the same funds took in $689.8 million. Spot Solana ETFs stayed barely positive.
Ether funds: four straight days of outflows
The week started with $17.1 million of net inflows on Monday, September 28. Farside's table then shows four outflow days in a row: $2.8 million on September 29, $59.6 million on September 30, $55.4 million on October 1 and $17.3 million on October 2.
Fidelity's FETH recorded outflows on each of those four days, totalling $74.1 million. Grayscale's ETHE lost $7.5 million on September 30 and $20.4 million on October 1.
The weekly figure may change. As of October 5, Farside's table still showed no October 2 entry for BlackRock's ETHA or for the ETHB fund.
CryptoPotato, using SoSoValue data, put the week's outflows at about $114 million. It said this was the second outflow week in the last three, and that cumulative net inflows had slipped from a recent high of $13.94 billion to $13.80 billion. Farside's running total stood at $13.85 billion.
Solana: weekly streak survives by a thread
Farside shows Solana ETFs took in a net $0.8 million for the week. That compares with $188.1 million the week before, which included $86.7 million on September 25, the largest single day in Farside's Solana table.
Trackers differ slightly. 24/7 Wall St., citing SoSoValue, put the week at $2.4 million. It said this kept alive a run of weekly inflows dating back to late June, and that Solana ETFs have drawn $842 million so far in 2026.
Prices and context
At about 04:10 UTC on October 5, CoinGecko showed ETH near $2,715, up 0.8% over 24 hours, and SOL near $120.36, down 0.2%.
US spot Bitcoin ETFs finished the same week with provisional net inflows. See our report on the end of the Bitcoin ETF inflow streak for details, and our explainer on what a spot Bitcoin ETF is for how these funds work.
In a separate analysis, 24/7 Wall St. argued that the September 30 outflows across Bitcoin, Ether and Solana funds likely reflected quarter-end portfolio rebalancing. That is the outlet's interpretation, not a confirmed cause. One week of flows does not establish a trend.
